The Story of Joseph Adetula 

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joseph Adetula who was born in Oklahoma on November 27, 1986 and passed away on July 04, 2005 at the age of 18. We will remember him forever.

Joseph Adetula was killed on July 4, 2005, while he was walking home from a convenience store. It was a senseless crime, and the murderers left no real information: all witnesses could tell the police and Joseph's father Dayo was that the shooters were in a four-door gold or tan vehicle. 

It was a stupid crime. Joseph Adetula died that day with nine bullets in him. Joseph Adetula

  Hello, I'm Vera Evans, mother of John Evans ll. Our son was murdered, Shot and doused with some kind of fluid. They found only bone fragments, he burned in a house fire. My husband and I miss him very much. That same year F.O.M.C.was there for us.They are here for so many of us. We Love You Son.

  Known as Tweety, he was a great student,, Father of 4 wonderful children and loved by all who knew him.
  Anthony (Tweety) was shot, killed by a man who was my lover and friend while trying to help his mom.
  Anthony will truly be missed and forever loved by his family and friends.

  Kym, a McCabe scholar was very agressive in her studies and in her career. Her plans included becoming a Pediatrician and hoping to set up a practice with her friend, Keisha Muldrow.  She was a child who loved God, loved to wrestle with her brother's, fish and camp out. There is a Memorial dedicated to her on the main campus o Langston University.

   Aaron was a wonderful fun loving kid, everyone loved and adored him. Aaron had just finished school and getting ready for a productive life. But he was standing talking to some friends when a SUV came speeding by, killing Aaron and seriously hurting two of his friends. I pray God to help me to forgive the man who killed my Son.

   Joseph was gunned down one night while walking home from a convenience and shot nine times. Joseph Dad was at his side when the ambulance came. Tragically, Joseph died at the hospital a short time later. Joseph's Dad started a non-profit foundation in his son's name.    Joseph Adetula Foundation.

   Danielle Dougan was murdered in November of 2005. Her mother (Mechele) now dedicates her time to F.O.M.C. - Families of Murdered Children.
