How does this site work?

The way NewPickPixels.com works is you can purchase pixels at a 20 cents each which is  displayed on the homepage. This is a new form of Internet advertising that can help
you as advertisers reach hundreds or thousands of potential customers. Ideally when all the pixels are occupied the front page will resemble a mosaic with hundreds of different logos from advertisers.

Who are you?

I am a commerce student, who is  seeking financing to start my own search engine. I plan on using the data that Alexa has opened up to the net, and I am sure that I can create a successful search engine, if only I have enough financing. I have plenty of ideas that I am sure will work, if only I have the required funding to get this started.

Why did you create this site?

This site was created over 2 years ago (It has been listed in DMOZ for about the same amount of time), and was a free resource on the web for webmasters looking for help on how to get high search engine rankings. This website has a no1 ranking in many of the search engines, and even has a no1. ranking on Yahoo and MSN for the term "Website Marketing" which is a very competitive term. I decided to auction off the adspace on this website, as it was already getting a huge amount of free traffic from the search engines, and I thought that this site is much better than the huge amount of poor quality sites that have just sprung up, selling pixel ads on the internet.

So how do I get started?

You start by buying pixels in 100 pixel lots. 100 pixels equals one square. As you can see
on the front page, there are 10,000 squares for a total of one million pixels. Each occupied
square is a clickable link to your website. And you can purchase these squares at $10 each.

Step 1 Buy squares at $10 each.

Step 2 Create an image logo that fits in the square. For example if you purchased one
square you could create a 10x10 pixel image. Or if you purchase four squares you could
create a larger 20x20 pixel picture.

Step 3 Your square is then displayed on the front page as a click able link to your website.
When people visit the Kissmoose.com's homepage (which is already in the no1 spot in most of the search engines) they will see your square and click the square to enter your website, thus generating more traffic to your site.
